Both the University of Memphis and Christian Brothers University Competed in the Hardware (Robotics) Competition at SouthEastCon 2010 held in Concord, NC this past weekend. <\/p>\n

The object was to create a solar powered robot (no other power source was allowed).<\/p>\n

Both schools robots were functional but, like many of the competitors, had power issues during the competition. Only a few of the schools that competed actually were able to move, let alone score a significant number of points by going through or over the obstacles. <\/p>\n
