{"id":1500,"date":"2010-09-12T20:35:45","date_gmt":"2010-09-13T01:35:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.dankohn.info\/?p=1500"},"modified":"2020-08-17T17:56:22","modified_gmt":"2020-08-17T17:56:22","slug":"red-rover-google-lunar-x-prize","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blog.dankohn.info\/index.php\/2010\/09\/12\/red-rover-google-lunar-x-prize\/","title":{"rendered":"Red Rover &#8211; Google Lunar X Prize"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you don&#8217;t know, Google has a contest call the Lunar X Prize which &#8220;<em>is a $30 million competition for the first privately funded team to send a robot to the moon, travel 500 meters and transmit video, images and data back to the Earth<\/em>.&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.googlelunarxprize.org\/\">Google Lunar X Prize Website<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>One team competing for the prize is at Carnegie Mellon University.
