They are being discontinued, so they are very cheep right now. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thinkgeek.com\/gadgets\/electronic\/c7b4?srp=1\">Think Geek<\/a> has them on sale for $129.99 (down from $229.99). <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.dan-kohn.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/rovio.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.dan-kohn.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/rovio-300x220.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"rovio\" width=\"300\" height=\"220\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2046\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I was warned that the robot is being discontinued due to the fact that the software (and internet interface) is not 100% compatible with WIN7&#8230;..but for for what I want to use it for, it should be fine (I also found an android app for it which is great).<\/p>\n<p>Here is a video demo (WowWee&#8217;s not mine):<\/p>\n<p><object style=\"height: 390px; width: 640px\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/CBgiEykkH9E?version=3\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><param name=\"allowScriptAccess\" value=\"always\"><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/CBgiEykkH9E?version=3\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allowScriptAccess=\"always\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\"><\/object><\/p>\n<p>I will be adding this bot to my collection for demonstrations on robotics.<\/p>\n<p>I will do a full review when I get the battery charged&#8230;.but one note&#8230;.it was supposed to come with a CD, but didn&#8217;t (but it was available online &#8211; so no problem).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just got a ROVIO mobile webcam from WowWEE robotics.
