Bluff City Robotics at US First Competition Milwaukee, WI

Schools’ Bluff City Robotics Team competed in the FIRST Robotics High School Competition, March 11-15 in Milwaukee, WI. The team placed 41st out of 53, but they won the 2009 Rookie Inspiration Award. This very prestigious honor, earned them the opportunity to take a picture with Dean Kamen, the founder of FIRST. The team begins their second regional competition today in Minneapolis, MN, where we are hoping they bring home an even bigger award and earn the chance to go to Atlanta to complete for the National Title. Here is a picture of the team with Dean Kamen from FIRST. (by Jada Askew MCS)
