Three teams from MCS are set to compete in the Minnesota US First North Star Regional competition April 2-4, 2009. The teams are from:
- Team 3109 Medtronic Inc. & Grizzlies Academy
- Team 3116 MASE
- Team 2817 NASA/Medtronic & Memphis City Schools
